Education and career help at expo

KUALA LUMPUR: Get advice on tertiary education opportunities and professional help to match your personality to a prospective job at the “Dare to Dream Education and Career Exhibition”.

Motivational sharing by local celebrities will also take centre stage today from 11am to 9pm at Hall 3 of the Mid Valley Exhibition Hall.

The event, which ends tomorrow, is organised by the MCA Young Professionals Bureau in conjunction with the Teen Fest Gaming Expo.

“This exhibition is to offer a different perspective to the online gaming crowd that comes here. We believe in reaching out to society and help the people regardless of their background and race,” bureau chief Datuk Chua Tee Yong said.

Among the exhibitors are The Star‘s career portal myStarjob.com, Jobstreet Malaysia and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. A voter registration exercise is also conducted during the event.

A lucky draw will be held on the last day of the exhibition, offering prizes such as iPad 2, HTC smartphone, digital camera and 20 mystery prizes. Admission is free.
