If electoral roll is flawed, how is PAS so confident of capturing Putrajaya

According to the New Straits Times front page on 2 May 2012, PAS Chairman Dato’ Seri Hadi Awang mentioned that if Pakatan Rakyat wins the upcoming general elections, Pakatan Rakyat will make amendments to the Federal Constitution. Islam will no longer be the official religion of Malaysia; but it will be our Addin (a way of life).

Hadi Awang has repeatedly said that if Pakatan Rakyat takes over the federal government, PAS will not hesitate to implement the Hudud law. Since PAS and Pakatan Rakyat are so confident in the upcoming elections, does it mean that our electoral roll has no problems at all? Does it mean that our upcoming elections will be a fair, clean and impartial?

If we assume Pakatan Rakyat is right in their claim, that the electoral roll is flawed and our elections are unfair and biased, then why is Pakatan Rakyat beaming with confidence, as if they have already won the elections?

MCA has repeatedly posed this question DAP leaders. If Pakatan Rakyat takes over Putrajaya in the next elections, how will DAP ever control PAS? How will DAP prevent PAS from implementing policies that will affect non-Muslims adversely?

The clearest example is the new fatwa ruling enacted by the Kedah State Assembly, which gives absolute power to the mufti and fatwa committee. This gives us a sudden warning that DAP is completely incapable of controlling PAS and has lost its position of equal footing among the members of the Opposition coalition. DAP only has control over Penang whereas in other states, it does not have the power to stop PAS. DAP is just like a ‘political eunuch’.

Not only the people of Kedah, but also the citizens of Malaysia have seen the true colors of PAS and their real motives, while on the other hand DAP is the accomplice in assisting PAS in building a theocratic state.

In the upcoming General Elections, if the Chinese cast their votes for DAP, they will pave the way for PAS to strengthen their foothold. PAS will definitely lead Pakatan Rakyat and implement its Hudud law in a bid to turn our democratic country to a theocratic one.
